Life is Good!

Sometimes decisions are made for us that we don't always appreciate.

My last post I was excited for new possibilities for job, home and my hubby. I had found a couple of jobs which I would have really liked and would have been a move up for me in my "career path". The benefit to those jobs would have also been moving to a climate which would have been better for my health as well. Since the last post my husband and I have done more research on the area where we were looking. The area was on a lake and part of a small community. The pictures reminded me of Wickford. The climate didn't have severe winters or extremely hot summers. This was a plus for me. We had researched police logs and newspapers but hadn't seen anything to be alarmed at. It seemed fairly comparable to where we live now. We checked with some people we know and found some different websites and it seems that the area is not quite what it appears. We began to be leary of whether it would be a good move. Fortunately/unfortunately, I didn't get the job. The decision was made for us.

I would still like to give my husband the opportunity to only work on school and I would still like to move to an area which will improve my health. Instead, I guess I get to develop more patience and find the better opportunity. Sometimes we have to have these types of disappointments in life so we can appreciate the areas where we find enjoyment. I can still enjoy the mountain that I can see from my window. I can still enjoy the people I work with. I can still enjoy time with the family that lives in the area. I can still enjoy my life and my loves here in Idaho. Life is good!
