It was over a year ago when I was thinking, "I'm going to find a job in a different area and tell my husband to quit his job and focus on school". A noble quest I thought. There is a saying "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans". It's because He may not have the same plans for you. I was a bit down when things didn't go like I hoped back then, but things change. As of today I am still at the same job (which I love) and still in the same town (which is ok). The only thing that changed was that my husband was able to quit his job. I know, a scary thing in this economy. Not as scary, if you are a person of faith.
In October we started our own company - SUNDANCER SOLUTIONS. Being self-employed can be a challenge and Jeff has born the brunt of this. I think it may have been one of the best things for our family. The money may not be rolling in but it has been nice having Jeff at home more. I am glad that we didn't act on our personal wants and paid attention to what God has in store for us.
