Catching up...

I was chastised by a friend lately because she didn't know what was going on because she hadn't seen me and I hadn't updated my blog. Life has been a bit of one of the most wonderful whirlwinds lately and it has not left me any time for the computer. So now I have some catching up to do.

First off I have to say that May brought me a few awakenings. It all started with Dalton's Senior prom. Dalton went to the prom with Tess, of course. They have been an item basically since middle school. They looked beautiful together. Why an awakening? Because it was that night that I realized that he really was graduating from high school this year. I knew he was, it just didn't sink in that he was until the prom came.

Then came Ronnie's end of year activities. He received the Presidential Award for his good grades at the end of year fifth grade assembly. Totally Awesome! But another awakening event because Ronnie had a graduation all of his own this year. My baby graduated from 5th grade and is now moving up to Middle school. Yep, no more kids in elementary school. A milestone for both Ronnie and I. Here is a picture of him and his friend Phoenix after graduation.

Ana has played at the last two graduations with our family since she started highschool herself. (Kire's and Dalton's) The next highschool graduation she will play at is her own as she is the next one to graduate in our crew. We have one child graduate each year for the past four years and now we have one year off until Ana graduates. Here is Ana in her band gown as she gets ready to play at Dalton's graduation.

Then came the biggest awakening...Dalton graduated high school. Dalton is the middle child in our blended family. There are literally four older than him and four younger. He is a good kid and has so much ahead of him. I am so proud of him for his accomplishment! Here is a pic of Dalton with Jeff.

Well that is it for now. I will catch up on more of the whirlwind later.

Have a great evening everyone!
