Fading from Facebook

I have decided to minimize my use on Facebook. It has been fun getting in contact with friends from highschool and college. I have been enjoying the recipies, the spiritual insights, pictures of family and corney jokes. But it has wasted some of my time and I just dont have enough to waste. I can't imagine what it would be like if I played the games too.

So, I have started the Facebook fadeout process. I have removed the Facebook app from my phone. I thought about closing it all together but I think I may still want to get on it from time to time. The 25th highschool reunion is in the works and I don't want to miss any communications on that. Many of the people doing the planning are keeping us informed through Facebook. (Great Job to all those who are searching out those from the class of 86 and planning the festivities) I have blocked my kids from my list of friends for security reasons. The rumors about facebook have me concerned enough that I don't want them linked to it if I am not on Facebook enough to keep my settings secure.

Thank you for inviting me into your lives and becoming a bigger part of my life. I would still like to keep in touch with everyone, this is not an attempt to shut everyone out of my life. Just an attempt to gain more control of my time. You can contact me at ksb5angels@yahoo.com at anytime. If you want to call and chat for real, just send me an email and I will give you my cell phone number.

Have a great day!
