While my parent's were here visiting, Jeff and I were able to go on a tour of Lake Coeur d'Alene by air and by boat. We had so much fun. Jeff sat right in the front seat of the plane to get as close to the pilot experience as he could. Dad was impressed with the plane because it was the same type of plane he had been on when in the Army in Germany.
We threw a surprise birthday party for my mom while she was here. She knew we were going to have a birthday dinner for her but what she didn't know is that my brother Jeff flew in from Utah and surprised her at the restaurant. Kate and her family came from Montana and Chris and Kevin called from Kansas and Rhode Island during dinner so they were a part of the evening as well.
We did so many things that week and were so glad to have so much family there to celebrate mom's special day! The events of the birthday weekend ended with a day at the lake and jet ski riding. So much fun!
